Contemporary American artist Jon Mort will welcome the community to his annual summer Open Studio “ATMOSPHERES” August 1st and 2nd, 10am to 5pm with a special Artist Discussion on Saturday at 1pm at Fieldstone Castle 129 Marshall Pt Rd, Port Clyde, Maine. Jon will host an Artist Discussion on Saturday August 1st at 1PM.

Jon Mort’s art reflects his deep, lifelong roots in the St. George region. Following his time at the Rhode Island School of Design, (RISD) he has created collections for museum and gallery exhibitions as well as original work for diverse platforms, from public installations to illustration. Mort presents his art in a variety of media, from colored pencil, graphite, and pen and ink, and cites influences in his process from archaeology to astronomy.
